Brief / As a contractor at the Sydney Powerhouse Museum (MAAS), I contributed to multiple design projects, from exhibition design to interior upgrades, enhancing visitor experiences throughout the museum.

Initially, I was brought on as an exhibition designer to assist the head exhibition designer for the Romance Was Born 2018 exhibition. Following this, I worked on exhibition changeovers across the museum and later transitioned into an interior design role. This included redesigning the relocated Members Lounge and overseeing various small interior projects as the museum underwent internal transformations. My role required adaptability, creativity, and a deep understanding of spatial design within a cultural institution.

What I loved about the project / This project was my first foray into exhibition design, and I loved the hands-on experience it provided. As someone passionate about history, applied design, and the sciences, working within the Powerhouse Museum was an incredibly rewarding experience.
